Now that it’s finally gotten a little chillier here in Ohio, I had hoped to take some time away from doing SQL-server related things and spend time doing more “me” things and just enjoying the holidays. Turns out, that wasn’t so much the case. Here’s what I’m working on and where you can find me this month:
- In case you missed it, I had a nice little streak going about the recently-publicly-released SQL Operation Studio:
- Also, speaking of blog posts, I have a year-end post coming but it isn’t what you think… it’s not about what I did on this site, or even in the technical community. Watch the site for when it drops (hopefully a day or so after this post).
- As far as speaking engagements this month, I’ll be talking to the Columbus PASS Chapter on Thursday, December 14th. Topic? SQL Server and PowerShell. You might even get to see more about the recent SQL Script Analyzer I wrote!
- The rest of the month has been dedicated to getting ready for my upcoming class I’m putting on in mid-January in conjunction with Brent Ozar Unlimited. It’s sold out (which is amazing!) and if everything goes well maybe I’ll do another… but I am hyper-focused on making sure it’s everything I want it to be (and hopefully everything the attendees want too).
And… I think that’s it! In case I don’t get the chance to do so in person or in some other method, I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read my blog posts this year. I hope you found the information helpful. I hope you and your families have a great and wonderful holiday season, and I look forward to what comes in 2018!
